Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
- Operations Management: Handle front desk operations, including answering multi-line phone systems, managing reservations, and processing payments accurately.
- Information Dissemination: Provide detailed information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities to assist guests in planning their stay.
- Issue Resolution: Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate guest records in the Property Management System (PMS) and prepare daily reports.
- Area Maintenance: Ensure the front lobby and reception area are tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required; some college or hospitality certification is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PMS software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a significant advantage.
- Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming standards are essential for this role.
- Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the hotel's schedule.
