Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying registration information and collecting payments accurately.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, responding to inquiries about reservations, amenities, and local attractions.
- Manage the front desk console, including monitoring the lobby area and assisting with luggage or directions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Handle guest requests, including room service orders, wake-up calls, and maintenance issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on hospitality and professionalism.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS) and basic computer applications.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 25 lbs).
