Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service at the front desk and during check-in/check-out processes
- Manage room reservations and ensure accurate billing information
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to resolve guest requests promptly
- Assist with event setup and guest reception for on-site conferences and weddings
- Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems accurately
- Maintain a clean, welcoming lobby environment at all times
- Participate in daily team briefings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- Knowledge of New Orleans attractions and local culture a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
