Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage all front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Guest Relations: Resolve guest inquiries and complaints immediately, maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor front desk agents and housekeeping staff during your shift to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Security & Safety: Monitor hotel premises to ensure the safety of guests and staff, and handle emergency situations in accordance with protocols.
- Financial Management: Process daily banking and reconcile cash drawers, ensuring all transactions are accounted for.
- Inventory Control: Assist in ordering and inventorying supplies, including amenities and room supplies, to maintain budget standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or a related customer service role.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests and staff.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong decision-making abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
