Responsibilities
- Manage seamless check-in/check-out processes for VIP and leisure guests
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with exceptional service
- Process payments and manage cash drawer with 100% accuracy
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments
- Upsell premium rooms, suites, and hotel amenities
- Maintain detailed guest preference profiles
- Execute emergency procedures during critical situations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years luxury hotel front desk experience
- Proficiency in Opera/Micros property management systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends/holidays
- Valid Illinois Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Fluent English; Spanish proficiency highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail in financial transactions
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
