Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly.
- Provide detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to make recommendations.
- Clean and reset tables efficiently to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with patience and problem-solving skills.
- Cash out guests accurately and process payments via POS systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Server in a high-volume restaurant or hotel preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; physical stamina required.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and tipping calculations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of local alcohol laws and responsible service practices.
