Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out processes efficiently using Opera PMS
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism
- Process payments, maintain accurate billing records, and manage cash handling
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet departments for guest needs
- Upsell hotel services, rooms, and packages to maximize revenue
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk environment
- Assist with group bookings and VIP guest arrangements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of San Jose attractions and transportation
- Fluency in English; bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
