Responsibilities
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring accuracy and a warm welcome for all guests.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails promptly, acting as the primary point of communication for the front desk.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and common spaces to ensure a professional appearance.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Process payments, post charges, and handle cash handling procedures with strict adherence to company policies.
- Assist in security protocols, including issuing room keys and monitoring access to the property.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk, reception, or hospitality role (1-2 years preferred).
- Must be available to work weekends, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or FrontDesk.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality certification is a plus.
