Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional front desk service including check-in/check-out, guest inquiries, and reservation management
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction
- Process payments and manage financial transactions accurately
- Act as a local Austin ambassador, recommending attractions, dining, and entertainment
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of lobby and public areas
- Collaborate with valet and security teams for seamless guest experiences
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality or customer service experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Texas Food Handler Certification preferred
- Knowledge of Austin attractions and local scene
- Basic cash handling and math skills
