Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend front desk operations and ensure seamless check-in/check-out processes
- Manage staff scheduling and performance during peak weekend shifts
- Handle VIP guest requests and resolve escalated service issues with professionalism
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B departments for operational excellence
- Train and mentor new hospitality associates on weekend-specific protocols
- Monitor inventory and replenish guest supplies to maintain premium standards
- Implement upselling strategies to enhance revenue during weekend stays
Qualifications
- 3+ years in luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment
- Proven leadership experience with weekend shift management
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in Opera PMS and hotel management systems
- Ability to work flexible weekend schedules (Fri-Sun)
- Strong knowledge of Chicago tourism and local attractions
- Valid Illinois Food Handler's certification preferred
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency a plus
