Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out processes with efficiency and professionalism
- Handle reservation inquiries, modifications, and walk-in accommodations
- Address guest concerns promptly and escalate complex issues to management
- Process payments and maintain accurate cash drawer procedures
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and dining departments
- Utilize hotel management software (Opera/PMS) for daily operations
- Uphold brand standards through meticulous attention to detail
- Contribute to weekend occupancy optimization strategies
Qualifications
- Previous front desk or customer service experience in hospitality preferred
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (training provided)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced weekend environment
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Valid Maryland driver's license and reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and service-oriented mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
